…She's gone and I feel dead inside.
If you were dead inside you would not feel anything at all. It’s possible you are still in the shock of denial, the “deer in headlights” part of grief, before it all sinks in. You cannot be dead inside because her love lives on inside your heart. Feel it. Feel her there! Pets are telepathic and empathetic. We feel the love in your heart as if it were our own. The heart is the very best place to connect with us. It is how we connect with you on earth and it is how we connect with you from beyond the grave.
We taught you a lot of this when we walked the earth with you. We did not use words but we could wag a tail to show you we were happy or droop it when we felt bad. Most of all we spoke from the heart, our heart to yours. We knew what we were doing. We were preparing you. We were helping you to learn along the way how to speak without words and how to live in the present moment where love lives. How to listen with your heart, not your ears. How to speak from the heart, in its faith and inner wisdom.
We love you. No matter where we are. No matter what happens. And she is not gone, only gone from your sight…
