How can I get through this???
The moment I saw and knew that Oliver was not ok, I decided to handle this journey differently as compared to my beautiful Gina 3 years ago.
I searched all over the internet and read several books on End of Life, Hospice, Anticipatory Grief, Transition, Soul’s Journey and Soul’s Contracts.
Along the way I saw and heard fabulous professionals, coaches, speakers, veterinarians and they all prepared me for the inevitable.
Did that mean I did not grieve?
Oh yes, I grieved.
But I was not lost this time.
I grieved for Oliver not being around me or lying down by my side.
But I was not lost.
This was a healthy grieving.
Oliver and I spent his last months and moments in the grandest and most valuable ways possible.
His transition transformed me.
I could have never done this without the guidance and wisdom of these wonderful Teachers.
