Dear Jack,
I’m really struggling with guilt... I didn’t have my precious boy cremated so I now have no ashes to scatter. When he died, we took him to our woods which he loved so much and buried him there. Now I feel guilty like I shouldn’t have done it that way. I had to let him go and set him free at that moment but at the time it seemed right for him. I hope he understands.
You did what was right for him. Let it be. Our first choices are usually the best choices. Don't beat yourself up and second guess yourself for doing what you thought was best, because what you thought was best WAS best for him. He was free the moment he left his body so any choice you made for him was the right choice for both of you.
Go visit his grave one of these days and breathe deeply and try to remain still and quiet, like you would as if you were trying to hear someone with a still small voice. This will be the beginning of your healing and awareness. Ask him for help. Ask him to help you heal and to let you know that he is still there with you. Then watch for the signs -- sights, sounds, smells, feelings – evidence that he is near.

If only you could know that we are still beside you through it all. You simply cannot see us. You are crying too hard and tears get in the way. We are on another level of vibration from you --- like being on another channel on the radio. We’re right here beside you but you aren't “tuned in” yet. As long as guilt, shame and sadness are in the way, there is interference and we cannot come together. We must be at the same level of peaceful vibration to be able to access one another.
