After putting down 2 Ava and Malachi within 18 months of each other we decided we just couldn't do it anymore and when Moses reached that point we were done... After a few months my wife asked me one night when she could get another puppy.... I said I thought and she stopped me and said I know what we said but I really want another puppy since you are gone a lot ( truck driver) I said I'll start looking tomorrow if that's really what you want...'
After searching I found a 20 plus year breeder who is a veteran and after talking with him and seeing his dogs and facilities I could tell this guy was good and loved his dogs and was passionate about breeding Great German Shepherds.... So we went to pick one out and had it narrowed down to two but couldn't decide so we took them both.... We had people tell us we were crazy because of littermate syndrome and no reputable breeder would sell 2 dogs to one customer....
My wife and I have had Shepherds for over 25 years together and she had them growing up so we felt confident we could overcome any issues that might arise... It's been the best decision ever...
