Dear Jack,
I’ve just finished “Reflections” and I plan to read the others as soon as I can. Kate says that YOU wrote the books, that YOU gave her your stories and all she did was type them up and publish them. How did she know what you said, how you felt, what you experienced? How did you communicate those things to her?
The foundation was already laid – a combination of love and shared life experience. If you’ve ever loved a soulmate, you know. You know each other’s thoughts. We have had a love unlike any other. Being an end-of-life counselor, she knew her stuff and had a solid comfort level with death. She had already witnessed miracles. If you read our first book, “Reflections”, you’ll know the process it took for me to get her attention after I crossed the Bridge. It wasn’t easy! It took six months from the time that I passed.
One drowsy night she picked up her pen and paper and began writing. The next day she read the first 12 pages of what I had said to her and she exclaimed to herself, “What am I going to DO with all of this?” She then knew that she had a book to write. Not just one, but many! It was our destiny to write these books. It was your destiny to read them. It is our destiny together to move out of the grief and back into the love.
Love, Jack
