Dear Jack,
I don’t think anything will ever take this pain away, how can it, my dog attacked another and I was forced to put him to sleep. I killed a healthy four-year-old because I failed him. If I had done more to train him better, he would still be with me. I just want to be with him.
It has not been long enough sweetheart. Have you been attacked or judged by people for what happened? Pay no attention to humans who don’t understand. He came here to teach you what to do next time; he might even come back to earth and give you another chance at showing him what you have learned. That is what it’s all about…learning and loving others and oneself.
Do you believe in Fate and Destiny? Before we come to Earth, we choose the circumstances that we will live in and he chose the life he lived with you. It was predestined. You are merely an actor on the stage of life and you fulfilled your part. It was supposed to happen this way. There is nothing you could have done to change it. It’s human nature to beat yourself up and you need to learn to accept and love yourself too, which is part of the journey and part of the reason this happened this way. You might need to find some therapeutic support if things don’t improve soon. Hang in there. I promise it will get better. I promise it will.
