When my parents passed away two years ago, they left me with their greatest gift— Robert, our family dog. He’s 4 now and has spent more time with me than he did with them. Robert has been my constant companion through grief and joy, always reminding me of the love my parents had for me. He’s more than a pet; he’s my connection to them and a source of endless comfort. He has become the master of my house. I cherish every moment with him, knowing he carries their spirit and love in his heart.
